Tri County Graduation
Class of 1999
Welcome to the unofficial Graduation 1999 page! (Please use your browser's BACK button to return to this page from a photo page.)
It's a little after noon on Sunday, May 16, and the gym is still empty. A few people are there, though, to take care of last-minute details.
Back in C-Wing though, seniors are in caps and gowns, and waiting for the festivities to begin.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 It's almost 2:00 p.m., and the gym is filling up. It's a hot, muggy day.
The administrators and School Board members take the stage; it's almost time to begin.
The band plays, and it's not long before all the seniors have filed in and taken their places.
Parents and grandparents look on as the graduation ceremony begins.
Students with outstanding scholastic records are honored. Here are the top 10% of the class of 1999, each one of whom will address their classmates as part of the ceremony.
One by one, seniors file across the stage to get their diplomas, and are congratulated by the Principal and the Superindentent.
Jarrod R. looks happy to have his diploma in hand!
The new graduates file out of the gym, and form a receiving line outside.
Lots of people come through the line to shake hands and offer congratulations.
Take a look at some of the newly-graduated Class of 1999! (Sincere apologies to those seniors not pictured here. Some pictures didn't turn out, and I couldn't get clear shots of some of you.)
