I provide support for the districts at ESU 5 to help implement coordinated systems of support for academic and behavior often referred to as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. This includes Response to Intervention and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. I also provide assistance to districts with their early intervention process and student assistance teams. As part of my role here at the ESU, I support districts with their school improvement plans for children with disabilities. Finally, I also provide school psychology services to the Southern School District.  I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education and received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Doane College.

I am married to Amy since 2005. I have a daughter and a step-son. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. We also have two dogs.  My wife and I enjoy fishing, camping, hiking and photography. One of our favorite place to vacation is Estes Park and visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.
