Educational Service Unit #5 Hosts "Structured Teaching"

Annette Wragge and Melissa Trautman were at Educational Service Unit #5 on May 25th to present programming on Structured Teaching. The goals of the workshop include learning the basic principles of structured teaching and beginning the application of these principles in designing or re-evaluating a target student’s programming. Participants learned the important components of structured teaching including: structuring the environment, individual daily schedules, work systems/work tasks and using visuals in the areas of communication, behavior, social/play and self-care.
