Southeast Nebraska Distance Learning Contract

May 19, 2010

For the past 14 years the Southeast Nebraska Distance Learning Contract (SNDLC) has provided cutting edge technology tools and training and has adopted the philosophy of developing technology based distance learning opportunities for all grade levels in the SNDLC area.  SNDLC is made up of fifty-three school districts, 4 community college campuses, 4 intermediate agencies.  The network was designed to provide school districts, intermediate agencies, college partners and two educational partners in the State of Nebraska with access to fully deployed fiber optic network connectivity.  For a list of the SNDLC members, please check out the “SNDLC Member Districts” section.

The school districts in SNDLC have access to educational partners who can provide an audio-video field trip and bring historical, geological, biological, and other learning opportunities in an enrichment format.  All enrichment activities are developed around the Nebraska standards and allow students to use the network to see and listen to experts discussing varied educational issues. For a list of the educational partners, please check out the “Educational Partners” section.

SNDLC has launched Digital Lockers - a storage place for teachers to upload classroom materials for student's to access inside and outside of the classroom.  Please contact the SNDLC Staff for more details!!
