Kristine Stout has been a member of the ESU staff since 2013.  Kristine is an occupational therapist who works with students in the school setting from preschool to students who are in school until 21.  Kristine also provides early intervention services as part of the Early Development Network for families and children age birth to 3. As an occupational therapist, Kristine supports students in handwriting, visual perceptual skills, attention, sensory processing, behaviors, fine motor skills, transition planning, developmental milestones, and self-care skills. Education and training is provided to students and the school team in order to best help the student learn skills or modify tasks so they can successfully participate and complete school activities. Kristine is the ESU 5 Brain Injury Regional School Support Team (BIRSST) representative for the southeast ESU 5 region, helping schools implement best practice for TBI and concussions.  When not working, Kristine enjoys playing with her two daughters, spending time with her husband, scrapbooking, exploring new places, and just relaxing.
