A Colorado transplant, Victor graduated from University of Northern Colorado in 1976, teaching 1 year at Greenwood Elementary in the Cherry Creek School District. He has lived in Nebraska since 1977, teaching 5th-6th grade Science at Hebron along with assisting in High School basketball. The teaching career included teaching in the 4th grade, Middle School science and computers (as Hebron consolidated into Thayer Central Community Schools), and even High School video editing. Victor earned a Masters degree in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Retiring initially in 2011, he returned part time for 2 years in Junior High Science and is now full-time Grandpa.
Married to wife Diane, for 38 years, who is recently retired from teaching after many years at Hebron and Thayer Central in primary grades.
The Jacobsons are avid Husker fans and spend time with adult children and grandchildren in Lincoln, when not at home in Hebron. Victor’s Community involvement includes Hebron Community Foundation and TeamMates mentor.
