This zoom workshop will provide an overview of Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) Maintenance of Effort (MOE) requirements under IDEA Part B. Participants will strengthen their understanding of fiscal accountability expectations and the requirement that federal funds supplement—not supplant—state and local special education funding.
We will present information to help districts ensure IDEA funds are being utilized in the most beneficial for your district.
We will be providing information on strategies to implement in order to help track and make the districts’ special education funding and reporting easier, along with information on coding, including each of the areas of special education.
