ESU TIP development and work time

Apr 13 2027
Educational Service Unit NO. 5
9:00am — 3:00pm

The Nebraska TIP Workshop provides district and school leadership teams with dedicated time and support to develop a comprehensive, data-driven Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) for submission to the Nebraska Department of Education. Through guided facilitation, participants will analyze multiple sources of student and implementation data, identify root causes, prioritize improvement goals, and develop evidence-based strategies aligned to district needs.

The workshop also provides opportunities to collaborate with leadership teams from across Nebraska, share effective practices, receive feedback, and strengthen continuous improvement efforts. By the end of the session, teams will leave with a refined TIP that meets submission requirements and includes clear action steps, progress-monitoring measures, and implementation plans designed to improve outcomes for all students.

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
