The NDE TIP Day will provide district and school leadership teams with dedicated time and support to develop a comprehensive, data-driven Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) for submission. Through guided facilitation, participants will analyze multiple sources of student and implementation data, identify root causes, prioritize improvement goals, and develop evidence-based strategies aligned to district needs.
Representatives from the Nebraska Department of Education will be on site throughout the workshop to provide technical assistance, answer questions, and offer individualized guidance as teams develop and refine their Targeted Improvement Plans. This allows districts to receive direct feedback from NDE staff, clarify expectations, and strengthen their plans prior to the May 3, 2027, submission deadline.
