This training is giving districts who are using or considering using the OpenSciEd materials a 10,000-foot overview of the program and how it is organized. This includes, but is not limited to: program structure, how to make it fit into your schedule, opportunities to shorten lessons and where you should not make cuts, experiencing investigations to learn why the program is structured the way it is and how ESU 5 can support you in your implementation, including what we have already built to add to or make the program run more smoothly in your classroom. This is not a training on your specific unit you will be teaching. That training is occurring during the August dates listed.
