OpenSciEd - Unit 1 Training - Grades 3-6

This session will provide Unit 1 training for teachers who are planning on utilizing the OpenSciEd Material during the 2026-2027 school year.  The training will be specific to the first unit that will be taught so that teachers feel confident starting the school year with this program.  We will look deeply at the content of the unit, where to find the needed materials, items that the ESU has created to allow for easier implementation, and curriculum documents that are being built.  It will give staff an opportunity to experience the science in the unit and know what to teach and where the boundaries are with the content.

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
