Paraprofessional Training and Professional Development

This professional learning session will focus on providing information for paraprofessionals who support students with diverse needs. 
A few areas to be covered will include:
*What is the chain of command in your district and who do I contact when I have questions
*Roles and responsibilities of para-educators
*Supporting students in the classroom and in 1:1 situations
*Accommodations vs. Modifications 
*Different service models
*Key components of an IEP
*Supporting challenging behaviors
*Academic Strategies and Interventions

Attending this training can be utilized for some of the yearly required hours for Early Childhood and Title paraeducators.
