ESU 5 and TeamMates Partner Together to Help Youth

The mission of the TeamMates Mentoring Program is to positively impact the world by inspiring students to reach their full potential through mentoring. The mission of Educational Service Unit 5 is educational innovation for teaching and learning.

With these missions in mind ESU 5 and TeamMates are excited to partner as we strive to positively impact the area TeamMates youth and mentors through innovative teaching and learning.  This partnership will aid in the growth and development of area programs with support around trainings, communication and community development.  A work in progress, we are eager to realize the potential impact a collaboration like this can have on our schools, communities, but most importantly our youth.

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
