ESU 5 joins partnership with neighboring agencies to assist future educators

Grant and partnership between Crete Public Schools, Doane University, Educational Service Unit 5 and Educational Service Unit 6 covers tuition for future educators to pursue specific dual-credit pathway.

Educator Pipe Collaborative (EPiC) Dual-Credit Pathway

Through a partnership between Doane University, Crete Public Schools and Educational Service Units 5 and 6, students within those districts who are interested in becoming educators can receive dual-credit for their degree program at zero cost. The Educator Pipeline Collaborative (EPiC) pathway is available for any student to participate, but students must attend a participating school district to receive the tuition waiver, which is funded by an Educator Shortage Grant received from the Nebraska Department of Education.

I am so grateful that the ESU had so many specialists to work with my son, because now I know what to do to help my child with autism. The speech pathologist and occupational therapist from the ESU have allowed him to gain more than I ever expected him to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
