While students and staff enjoy a well-deserved summer break, the Technology Department is hard at work preparing district systems for the upcoming school year.
One of the many projects completed this summer included reorganizing and updating network racks and switches throughout the district. The before-and-after photos showcase significant improvements in cable management, organization, and overall network infrastructure. These upgrades help improve reliability, simplify troubleshooting, and support future technology needs.

In addition to network improvements, the Technology Department is busy completing wireless access point (AP) updates, switch firmware and equipment upgrades, preparing new computers for deployment, and wiping and reprovisioning student and staff devices. The department is also migrating the district's phone server to a new platform and installing a secondary internet connection to enhance network redundancy, security, and reliability.
These behind-the-scenes efforts help ensure that district technology remains secure, efficient, and ready to support teaching and learning from the first day of school. While classrooms may be quiet during the summer months, the Technology Department continues working diligently to keep our schools connected and prepared for another successful year.
