Jeannine was born January 31, 1965 in Holton, Kansas.  After graduating from Wymore Southern Schools, she attended college and graduated from University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1986 with a B.S. in Elementary Education/Human Development. 

Jeannine got married to her husband (Jay) in 1987, has four children (Ben, Courtney, Peyton and Carter), two grandchildren (Scarlett and Conrad) and another granddaughter coming in February 2020.  She taught three years in Elk Creek Public School in a combined classroom and then thirteen years at Wymore Southern as a Kindergarten teacher.  Jeannine currently owns her own business as an in-home childcare provider and has been doing this for fourteen years. 

She is a member of Christ Community Church and is a board member for the Educational Service Unit #5.
