Joni Runge has been a member of the ESU 5 staff since 1999 as a Professional Development Consultant.  Joni works with all of the school districts in our area to assist them with Continuous School Improvement, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.  As a Professional Development Consultant, Joni facilitates network groups within the ESU including Curriculum Coordinators, Guidance Counselors and Reading Coordinators. Joni has particular interest and experience working with aspects of curriculum alignment / development and literacy instruction. 

During personal time, Joni enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, gardening, traveling and cooking.
