Marikarmen Vazquez Sanchez has been part of the ESU #5 staff since 2024.  As a Spanish Teacher, Marikarmen is passionate about teaching and dedicated to sharing the richness of the Spanish language and its culture.  She aims to ignite a genuine interest in her students, helping them appreciate the importance of learning a new language and its impact on their lives.  

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family - her husband Carlos and their children Yan, Fabian and David.  She loves exploring new places, visiting her island Puerto Rico and supporting her children at their sports events.  As a proud Puerto Rican, she takes great pride in sharing and celebrating her culture.

Marikarmen's philosophy of life is to enjoy every  moment and celebrate the little things that come with it.
