Educational Service Unit 5 seeks to provide equitable access to high quality Spanish education through live, synchronous Distance Learning. Our staff teach from studios equipped with high quality A/V systems out of our ESU 5 office (Beatrice, near Lincoln) and our ESU 3 office (La Vista, near Omaha). Due to high demand for our services, we are looking to add two Spanish educators to join our team of seven who currently teach to 425 students in 16 school districts across the state.
At ESU 5, we believe that all students can succeed, in a supportive classroom environment and in world language best practices. Program Data indicates students enjoy our classes, are motivated to learn, value learning the second language, and succeed at acquiring it.
